Winter on the Wharf
After the holidays, treat yourself to a getaway in Boston. Check out our team's picks for things to do in the city!
First Night Boston
Ring in the New Year during First Night Boston!
This year's musical guests include Sammy Adams, Nancia, Sons of Levin, and more.
The First Night Parade will make its way through the city at 6:00 PM, fireworks over the Common will commence at 7:00 PM, and at the stroke of midnight the Harbor Fireworks will begin - you cannot beat the view from your guest room balcony at Boston Yacht Haven!
Winter Activities
Lace up your skates and take to the ice! You can enjoy this classic winter activity by heading to the Frog Pond Ice Skating Rink on Boston Common, or check out the Rink at 401 Park in the Fenway area.
In the seaport district, try your hand at Curling this winter. It's completely free to participate, but we recommend reserving a lane ahead of time.
Stroll through the Snowport Winter Market and explore the offering of local makers, grab a bite to eat, and be on the lookout for an appearance from Betty the Yeti!
There is plenty of excitement to be had at the nearby TD Garden, with the Bruins and Celtics on their way to championship titles, and a number of incredible artists performing live in concerts (did someone say Madonna in January?!).
Valentine's Day
This Valentine's Day, treat your loved ones to a romantic and relaxing getaway at Boston Yacht Haven.
Steps away from Boston Yacht Haven is Christopher Columbus Park, which will soon come to life with the 'Tunnel of Love,' complete with lights, conversation hearts, and music. Go for a stroll and take advantage of the beautiful photo-ops before heading to dinner in Boston's revered North End.
